JEC media, events and digital channels connect a global community of professionals from the composites industry and beyond, to enable knowledge transfer, create networking opportunities, and highlight innovation.
As part of its activities, JEC is recruiting a highly motivated Business Meetings Program Coordinator, to join its Events team (position based in Paris). This role reports to the Head of Business Meetings Programs.
DESCRIPTION DU POSTE :
Main missions and responsibilities
Targeted Prospecting and Recruitment
o Actively source and qualify new participants (buyers, decision-makers, engineers, and professionals from the relevant sectors), in line with each event’s objectives.
o Build and manage targeted prospect lists according to team goals.
o Conduct outreach campaigns (emailing, calls, LinkedIn) to recruit high-value profiles.
o Support the conversion of prospects into confirmed participants, ensuring alignment with the event’s theme and scope.
Operational Management of the Business Meetings Program
o Contribute to the design and implementation of Business Meetings programs across JEC events (JEC World & JEC Forums).
o Coordinate project timelines, production milestones, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
o Manage relationships with participants (buyers and suppliers/exhibitors): onboarding,
support, and satisfaction monitoring.
Digital Tools and Networking/Matchmaking Platform
o Serve as an operational point of contact for the Grip platform (or equivalent): setup, profile management, user support.
o Ensure the accuracy and relevance of participant profiles to enable effective networking/matchmaking.
o Contribute to optimizing the digital user experience in coordination with the Digital and
Data & CRM teams.
Hosted Buyers Program
Identify and recruit strategic buyers in collaboration with JEC’s international teams and partners.
o Manage their logistics, communication, and engagement throughout the event cycle.
o Deliver a high-value experience for both buyers and suppliers/exhibitors.
Participant Engagement and Satisfaction
o Implement targeted actions (calls, emails, follow-ups) to activate registrants and generate high-quality meetings.
o Provide personalized support before, during, and after the event.
o Monitor service quality indicators and identify continuous improvement levers.
Post-Event Review and Continuous Improvement
o Analyze performance metrics and participant feedback to identify areas for improvement.
o Contribute to post-event reports, recommendations, and action plans for future editions.
Cross-functional Coordination
o Work closely with the Head of Business Meetings Programs and collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Digital, Data & CRM, and Communication teams, as well as international partners.
o Act as a reliable and hands-on contact for all matters related to Business Meetings. The list of missions may evolve depending on the priorities and needs of the company.
DESCRIPTION DU PROFIL
Candidate Profile
Education
o Master’s degree in Business, Events Management, Marketing, or Project Management (or
equivalent).
Experience
o Initial experience or strong interest in lead generation, prospecting, or B2B customer
relations.
Languages
o Fluent in English and German
are mandatory.
o Additional languages are a plus.
Tools and Skills
o Comfortable with digital tools, CRM systems, and B2B networking/matchmaking
platforms.
o Data-driven and result-oriented.
